Quality
Wolf Corporation specializes in the construction of
large (4,000 to 25,000 square foot) custom homes and
specialty public buildings. We are also recognized for
historic renovation, addition and remodeling work performed
to the highest standards. Among our more prominent projects
completed in Santa Fe are The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum,
its nearby O'Keeffe Research Center, The Allene LaPides
and Riva Yares Galleries, The Wheelwright Museum of
the American Indian, various medical facilities and
several Bed and Breakfast residences.
We are comprised of 60-70 proven, full-time employees,
many of whom have been with Wolf Corporation in excess
of 20 years. In addition, we are proud to count as an
integral and historical part of our workforce some 200
subcontractors -- whose tested experience and expertise
contribute to the success of our projects.
John C. Wolf, President and Owner, founded Wolf Corporation
after successfully operating his construction firm as
sole proprietor from 1971 to 1980. Prior to re-locating
to Santa Fe, John began in the building trade as a carpenter,
eventually becoming a licensed General Contractor in
the Chicago area. Through the years, John has communicated
his solid, hands-on knowledge of the building craft
to all of his employees. This together with his and
his executives' compassionate dedication to clients
and their projects, have made Wolf Corporation one of
the largest and most respected General Contractors in
the Santa Fe, New Mexico area.
In 1990, John Wolf and Wolf Corporation were chosen
by WGBH-TV Boston to host a six-part "This Old
House" series which featured the renovation of
an old Santa Fe adobe residence and which included substantial
retrofitting of contemporary materials and techniques.
This program subsequently became one of the most sought-after
of the classic "This Old House" programs.
Beyond that national exposure, Wolf Corporation's business
has grown entirely from referrals of highly satisfied
clients. Click
